Asia Mideast Insurance and Reinsurance Pty Ltd (AMIR)
Established in 1997, AMIR is an underwriting agency acting on behalf of certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s and specialised insurers/reinsurers and is an approved Coverholder of Lloyd’s.
AMIR is also trading under the following business name:
- Australian Market Insurance Resources
- Australian Business Shield (in respect of Discretionary Mutual Funds)
Our main objective is to work with intermediaries to develop innovative insurance solutions by utilising our strong relationships with the international reinsurance market.
AMIR has successfully developed a solid track record in writing profitable energy programmes covering Upstream and Downstream products.
AMIR’s future involves building on that foundation to leverage opportunities to market products across multiple distribution channels with business partners who are experts in their fields.
As we execute Asia Mideast Insurance and Reinsurances’ next growth phase, we’re developing long-term partnerships that can further grow the agency.
We are expanding our client base while remaining a niche, limited-access agency with a preferred distribution model.
